The Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboys got the crowd clapping at the Thursday, June 17 Summer Concert Series provided by the Red Willow Arts Coalition.
Based out West Central Minnesota, the band played a mix of traditional country music as well as some early rock-and-roll. The concert was sponsored by the Echo Press.
Major sponsors of the series are Anderson Funeral Home, Elden’s Fresh Foods and Bethany on the Lake.
The concerts take place on the Douglas County Courthouse lawn at 7 p.m. on Thursday nights through the summer.
The next performance will be Country Road, a tribute to John Denver, on Thursday, June 24.

A special patriotic concert will also take place on Sunday, July 4 featuring sing-alongs.
People are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Popcorn and water will be for sale.
Members of the Red Willow Arts Coalition are volunteers and receive no financial compensation. They pass a jar during each concert for donations. Sponsorship money helps pay for the performers but the nightly donations help with advertising, printing and planning future events.
