Join Lake Carlos State Park in celebrating the history of the area on Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day will be filled with heritage and history based on those who lived in this area years ago.

Activities will include archery, butter making, Dutch oven cooking, traditional fire-making skills, history hikes, antique cars, apple on a string and other traditional games. Sign up is required for archery, which can be done ahead of time by calling the main office. It will also be done on the day of the event.

The event will be held at Lake View Group Camp in the lower portion of Lake Carlos State Park. Children younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A vehicle permit, available at the park office, is required to enter the park ($5 for one day or $25 for 12 months).
