CMH News: Root beer floats delivered to residents

May 24-30

As the world outside is changing, so will this article. Our goal is to let you know what is going on inside our campus at Community Memorial Home in Osakis.

This week was our 11th week of campus-wide restrictions. There have been no group social activities. Each day a member of the activity staff goes room to room to see if there are any specific wants and needs that we can meet or do with the residents/tenants. Some of the requests are to have their hair set and styled, nails done, hang hearts on windows, one-on-one crafts, play a game of cards and some just need to have one-on-one conversation.

Happy Memorial Day!

On Tuesday, snacks and beverages were delivered to all residents. Many also enjoyed TV bingo in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, Catholic communion was held. We delivered snacks and beverages to all residents. Several residents helped plant flowers outside the different buildings, it was a beautiful day to be outside.

On Thursday, many enjoyed TV bingo. We delivered snacks and beverages to all residents.

Friday, as a special treat, we delivered root beer floats to all residents.

Thank you to all the family and friends that stop by and have a window visit!

If anyone is in the mood to write letters to our residents, do not let fear hold you back. If you want someone in particular, please call 320-859-6280 or email resident@galeon.com as staff needs to set it up.

Have a great week!
