June 14-20
As the world outside is changing so will this article. Our goal is to let you know what is going on inside our campus.
This week was our 14th week of campus-wide restrictions at Community Memorial Home in Osakis. There have been no group social activities. Each day a member of the activity staff goes room-to-room to see if there are any specific wants and needs that we can meet or do with the residents/tenants. Some of the requests are to have their hair set and styled, nails done, hang hearts on windows, one-on-one crafts, play a game of cards and some just need to have one-on-one conversation.
On Monday, snacks and beverages were delivered to all residents.
On Tuesday, snacks and beverages were delivered to all residents. Many also enjoyed TV bingo in the afternoon.

As a special treat on Friday, we had a happy hour and delivered alcoholic beverages with fresh popped popcorn to all residents. We had a family parade in the afternoon. Thank you to all the family members who drove through. The residents really enjoyed seeing everyone.
Thank you to all the family and friends that stop by and have a window visit!
If anyone is in the mood to write letters to our residents, do not let fear hold you back. If you want someone in particular, please let us know (320-859-6280 or resident@galeon.com) as we need to set it up.
Have a great week!
