Many small- to midsize-businesses don’t have the budget for a human resource staff member; however, if they have employees, they still have a human resource need. Learn tips to help combat this need at the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce’s Noontime Knowledge luncheon on Monday, Nov. 18, from noon-1 p.m. at Broadway Ballroom.

In this hour, guest speaker Natalie Remund will provide guidance on creating job descriptions, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, training, coaching, performance evaluations and an employee handbook.

Remund is chief business development Officer for Multi Business Solutions. She has more than 10 years of management and training experience. In addition to supporting small businesses with their HR functions, Remund also provides accounting support through monthly QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online training and bookkeeping services to clients.

Noontime Knowledge is sponsored by Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union. The informative luncheons are held the third Monday of each month. Cost is $10 and includes lunch. No RSVP required; pay at the door. For more information, call the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce at 320-763-3161 or email
