Show your Alexandria spirit

The City of Alexandria, in collaboration with the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, invite the community to celebrate Spirit Week.

Spirit Week Alexandria will take place starting Monday, April 20 and will run through Friday, April 24.

It doesn't matter if you are young of old, working at a business, from home or even not at all, you can take part in Spirit Week.

Each day, there is a theme. If you partake in that day's theme, take a picture and upload it to your social media accounts being sure to use the hashtag, #AlexMNSpirit.

Here are the themes for each day:

Monday, April 20 – Look alike day: Dress like someone you know. For example, your favorite character, movie celebrity, family member, co-worker, your boss or join with others to all dress alike.
Tuesday, April 21 – Alexandria swag day: Show off your Alexandria logo-wear or wear your favorite business logo gear.
Wednesday, April 22 – Earth Day: Dress in Earth tones or be creative and dress like the sun, moon, stars or even Mother Earth.
Thursday, April 23 – Bring your child to work day: Snap a photo with your kid(s) while hard at work.
Friday, April 24 – Cardinal Day: Dress in your favorite Alexandria Cardinal gear or dress in red.
