Pike and Pint Grill in Alexandria will be temporarily closed from Monday, April 26 to Friday, April 30 for a remodeling project.
The restaurant will reopen for lunch at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 1.
The remodel will include new booths, chairs and bar stools throughout the restaurant.
"We are extensively changing the look and feel of the dining room itself," said the founder Kent Kopp. "The new furniture is much more comfortable than what we have had in the past and the design of the space itself will be warmer and more up to date than our past look."
The design was crafted by Tracy Gravning of Tracy Anderson design. The construction will be handled by Innovative Builders.

In addition to the work inside, Pike and Pint will begin work on a new patio outside. During the next week, the old patio structure will be removed and the restaurant will begin preparing the property for a new expanded patio that will include an outdoor bar, fireplace, multiple fire pits and a waterfall wall, according to Kopp.
The new patio will seat around 100 people and over half of it will be covered by a roof with built-in heat, Kopp added.
The new outdoor dining space is also designed by Tracy Gravning and will be built by Innovative Builders. "We are hoping to have the new patio complete by early to mid June," Kopp said.
