Consolidated Equipment Group hires two, promotes two

Consolidated Equipment Group in Alexandria recently promoted two employees and hired two new staff members.

The two promotions included Tom Flynn and Aaron Stubbs. Flynn, now president and CEO, started as the director of finance in 2005, became the CFO in 2012 and adopted the role of president in 2019.

Stubbs, the new marketing manager, started working for CEG in 2014 in the sales department and will continue his role as a product specialist.

The company’s two new hires were Barry Voxland and Scott Wiethoff.

Voxland, now CEG’s director of operations, had 25 years of manufacturing experience at Toro and most recently served as their operations manager before joining CEG’s team.

Wiethoff previously worked at CEG in 2006 in sales and advanced to sales manager before leaving to start his own company. Returning to CEG as the vice president of sales, Wiethoff has over 20 years of experience in sales and leadership roles.

Local Avon representative receives all-expense paid trip

Alexandrian Mary Becker earned her fourth trip with Avon to the Dominican Republic.

Through her sales for the company, Becker is one of less than 600 out of over 200,000 Avon representatives in the U.S. to achieve this incentive. Her previous trips included Las Vegas in 2013, Playa Del Carmen in 2016 and Bermuda in 2018.

Becker has worked as a representative for Avon in the area for 11 years. She said she enjoys spending time with customers and working with the national team.

The Knute Nelson Foundation board elected four new officers: chair Elliot Christensen, vice chair Terri Bursch, treasurer Richard Moen and secretary Pam Carlson.
