ALEXANDRIA/ST. CLOUD — Northwestern Mutual, a leading financial security company, recently announced the opening of its expanded office in Alexandria. Through this expansion, Northwestern Mutual hopes to reach a new set of clienteles and provide additional employment opportunities to the area.
“Our new office space in Alexandria signifies the company’s growth and commitment to the community,” said Ben Dahl, financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual’s Alexandria office. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to expand our reach and help more families throughout Minnesota achieve financial security.”
The Alexandria-based firm has doubled its space from 2,000 square feet to 4,000 square feet, which will allow the firm to continue to increase its headcount. To start, four advisors will work out of the office, with the potential to double talent within the next three years. There will also be additional job openings for support staff and interns.
“The Alexandria office will not only help us reach a new set of clients, but it also creates opportunity to recruit top talent within the St. Cloud, Alexandria, and surrounding communities,” said Mike Christopherson, growth and development director and financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual’s Alexandria office.
The office held a ribbon-cutting celebration on Feb. 27 to commemorate the expansion. The Alexandria and St. Cloud offices bring the total number of Minnesota-based offices to nine.
