A workshop on how to empower employees to see waste and eliminate it is coming to the Grand Arbor community room on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Sam Gould, Enterprise Minnesota's continuous improvement expert, will show attendees how to engage employees in eliminating waste and producing higher-quality, higher-volume products in less time while maximizing productivity. Attendees will gain: increased employee skills and behaviors that align with company values; increased focus on value-added activities; improved productivity company-wide; and strengthened continuous improvement efforts.
Any manufacturer is invited to attend who knows basic lean concepts and has implemented early steps in Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen events, yet seeks a higher level of continuous improvements.
