Living Word Lutheran Church to host Wake Up Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA — Living Word Lutheran Church, 1722 16th Ave. East in Alexandria, will host the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce "Wake Up Alexandria" event on Friday, Dec. 16 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Wake Up Alexandria is a Chamber networking event that is open to everyone. It offers an opportunity for attendees to learn about the businesses and organizations within the community. A $1 admission is requested, with all proceeds donated to the day’s nonprofit recipient, Church for the Harvest.

All Chamber members will be placed in a drawing for the Pot of Gold, which is currently valued at more than $5,000. This Wake Up event will also feature a Holiday Attire Contest. Wear your most creative, unique, festive holiday attire for a chance to win prizes.

Living Word Lutheran Church of Alexandria offers 9 a.m. Sunday worship services year-round with the addition of a Wednesday evening service during the summer months.
