Holiday Inn of Alexandria will host the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce "Wake Up Alexandria" event Friday, May 21, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The event is open to everyone, and masks are required.
After paying a $1 admission fee, attendees will have networking opportunities and a chance to win door prizes. All money raised will be donated to the day’s nonprofit recipient, the Alexandria Fellowship of Christian Athletes. All Chamber members will also be placed in a drawing for the Pot of Gold, which is valued at nearly $3,600.
Located at 5637 State Hwy 29 S, the Holiday Inn is situated near exit 103 off Interstate 94. The hotel has a recreation center, which includes a swimming pool, kids’ pool, whirlpool and game room as well as a volleyball, basketball and floor hockey area. Willy T’s Tavern and Grill, attached to the hotel, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
