Gate City Bank's Alexandria office opened at 1630 Broadway Street on Wednesday, June 17.

The lobby is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

The drive-up is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The phone number for the office is (320) 762-3100.

The full-service office features four teller stations, private offices for account openings and loan discussions, three convenient drive-up lanes, and a drive-up ATM lane.

The interior of the office features a comfortable sitting area with a fireplace and an LCD flat-screen television.

Scott Duberowski will manage the Alexandria office and will also originate mortgage and personal loans. Stephanie Anton will supervise the customer service and teller department of the office.

On staff to provide customer service, complete customer transactions and open new deposit accounts are Courtney Gould, Viola Dorn, Dexter Hormann, Diane Strehlow and Kristofor Chisholm.

"Gate City Bank is committed to providing the very best in customer service," said Duberowski. "The entire Alexandria staff is dedicated to assisting our community with all of their financial needs. We are excited to bring Gate City Bank's unique products and services - including refunding checking customers' ATM fees automatically without requiring them to turn in receipts, and providing home loans that are serviced by Gate City Bank for the entire life of the loan - to Alexandria and the surrounding community."

"Gate City Bank is a safe and sound community bank with a strong 86-year history," said Gate City Bank chairman, president and CEO Steve Swiontek.

In 2008, the bank's employees volunteered 15,260 hours in their communities, Swiontek noted. Their efforts were combined with a Communities and Neighbors charitable giving program to provide a value of more than $1,189,000 to organizations across Minnesota and North Dakota.

With the addition of the Alexandria office and another office in Fergus Falls later in June, Gate City Bank will have 30 locations in Minnesota and North Dakota, and will employ more than 390 people.
