Gate City Bank and Marco, Inc. were named two of the 50 Best Places to Work in the region by Prairie Business magazine.

Gate City Bank incorporates fun days in the work schedule each week to encourage creativity and employee engagement. It also uses a results-based wellness benefit that encourages employees to make healthy life choices and lowers health care expenditures.
Marco is a technology services company that specializes in business IT services, hosted/cloud services, managed services, telecom carrier consulting services and more.
Nearly 2,500 surveys were submitted for this year’s Prairie Business contest, and more than 140 companies were nominated through the anonymous employee survey. Companies were rated in a variety of areas, including work environment, employee benefits and employee happiness.
