Chamber memership team recognizes 5 new members

They are Alexandria Area Youth for Christ, Lakes Area Portables, Affordable Septic Service, Viking Sportsmen and Scooter's Coffee.

ALEXANDRIA — The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Team recognized five new Chamber members on earlier this month.

Alexandria Area Youth for Christ serves teens ages 11-19 from all religious backgrounds. The group meets formally on Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:15 pm at 124 7th Ave. W, Ste. 15. It also offers other opportunities for fellowship such as girls art night, game nights, and more. Learn more at www.yfcminnesota..com.

Lakes Area Portables and Affordable Septic Service are owned by Mark Scheller and Sue Hawkinson. Lakes Area Portables has restrooms and hand washing station rentals. All units are supplied with hand sanitizers, toilet paper and deodorizer. Affordable Septic Service offers septic pumping for residential and commercial clients.

Viking Sportsmen was formed in 1945. It’s mission is to support and improve the conservation of wildlife and its habitat. The organization does this by establishing programs and practices.

Viking Sportsmen organizes many youth activities in the area including Youth Outdoor Activity Day, firearm safety, food plot program, and more. Learn more at www.vikingsportsmen.org.
