Chamber membership team visits 3 new members

Three Alexandria businesses were recognized for becoming Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce members.

The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Team recognized three new chamber members on Wednesday, June 2.

Safe Families for Children is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that was founded in 2003 with the goal of keeping kids safe and families intact. The free, voluntary program is open to any family of any make-up needing support through life’s challenges. Learn more at www.westcentralminnesota.safe-families.org .

Alexandria Area Young Life’s mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow their faith. Staff and volunteers accomplish this by building personal relationships with young people and providing skill-building experiences for them. Learn more at www.alexandriamn.younglife.org .

Boy Scouts of America – Northern Lights Council was incorporated in 1974 and is chartered by the National Council. Its mission is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Learn more at www.nlcbsa.org/prairiefire .

The membership team serves as a resource to new members by providing support through conversations and introductions that will cultivate and promote positive ongoing relationships between chamber members.
