Chamber ambassadors spotlight four Alexandria businesses

Remodels, relocation, business start-up among reasons for recognition

The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recognized four local businesses Wednesday, April 14.

The Filament is a modern, industrial-style office space located at 316 Broadway St. The building contains a shared kitchen, lounge areas and common workspaces that may be reserved for events. There are six offices, four of which are currently open for rent, and fiber optic internet is available.

Sport Clips Haircuts specializes in male haircuts. Located at 405 50th Ave. W, the sports-themed interior features many TVs and runs by an online check-in system. “The MVP Experience” features a haircut, hot steamed towel, shampoo and a neck as well as shoulder treatment.

Carpet One Floor & Home recently remodeled its space. The store offers a variety of carpet, hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile, vinyl, area rugs, window treatments and more. Carpet One is open Monday through Saturday and has a full-service team on site at 3809 Highway 29 S.

The Coffee Pot Café , a homestyle family restaurant, recently moved into its new location at 1518 Broadway St. The new space offers more room for customer seating as well as a larger kitchen area. The business also features a drive-through window for quick ordering and pickup.

The Chamber Ambassadors serve as a communication link to promote positive relationships between the Chamber and the business community for both members and non-members.
