Chamber Ambassadors recognize three local businesses

The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recognized three local businesses on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

  • The CBD Centers recently opened a branch in Alexandria at 405 50th Ave. W, Ste. 103. The company says its mission is to create safe and trusting retail centers to educate and develop products for the world to benefit from CBD. It provides products such as sublinguals, topicals, ingestibles and inhalables. All products are extracted from Midwest Farms.
  • Alexandria Opportunities Center and Productive Alternatives officially merged as of Sept. 1. The merger of these two organizations will offer a variety of services to the Alexandria community, including employment preparation, job placement, community assessments, competitive employment and more for individuals with mental disabilities, physical disabilities or mental illness.
  • Randy’s Family Optical, located at 2306 S Broadway St., has been purchased by Dr. Becky Barton. After the expansion into the next-door space, the office was also completely remodeled. Randy’s Family Optical offers an on-site lab, allowing for faster service, a wide range of optometric services and eye care products, including glasses, specialty eyewear, frames and contact lenses.
