The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors visited four local businesses Wednesday, May 12.
5th Avenue Styles, formerly known as Hair Profiles, is located at 115 Fifth Ave. W. Current owner Carley Yeats recently bought the salon from her grandmother and is planning future renovation projects. The business, which has been in operation for 51 years, offers hair, nails, facial services and more.
Fired Up Bar and Grill, previously called Red Birds Sports Bar, is located at 530 County Rd. 22 NW. Its new name is inspired by a focus on grilled and smoked menu items. The restaurant hosts a volleyball league twice weekly in the summer months and recently added two firepits.
JS Design recently moved to 605 Broadway St. in downtown Alexandria. Owner Jill Stoeck has been in the building industry for more than 30 years, and her goal when designing a space is to have it reflect the client. The full-service interior design business works with a team of builders, subcontractors, artisans and landscapers.
Precision IT Solutions relocated to 1229 N Nokomis NE. The business offers services for companies, groups and individuals. Staff are certified in both Apple and Microsoft, and they offer service for all devices for a monthly fee. The company’s off-site backup has local and cloud-based servers.
