Alea Stutz has joined the Alexandria office of Widseth Smith Nolting as a graduate engineer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and history from Montana State University. Stutz works with both the civil engineering and water resources departments, where she is responsible for reviewing construction documents, generating quantity estimates and communicating with outside organizations throughout the project process. Widseth Smith Nolting provides engineering, architecture, land surveying and environmental services from offices in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Greg Bienias has been promoted to manager at Mahoney Ulbrich Christiansen Russ P.A., a full-service CPA firm known for its niches in real estate and non-profit organizations The Alexandria native and Concordia College Moorhead graduate joined the firm in September 2008, and provides audit and accounting services to nonprofit and real estate entities. He currently resides in St. Paul. “Greg brings a strong work ethic to the firm. His steadfast commitment to work and our clients is critical in helping the firm continue to grow and succeed,” said managing partner Roz Allyson.
Kyle Hoium, an Osakis graduate and American Family Insurance agency owner since 2012, has been recognized for providing an outstanding customer experience under the American Star Excellence in Customer Experience certification program. Hoium's office is in Melrose. The service excellence distinction is based on an evaluation process consisting of a survey measuring customers’ overall experience with their agency owner.
