The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recognized four local businesses on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

  • Massage by Natalie is owned by Natalie Goodwin and is located at 510 22nd Ave. E, Ste. 201B in Alexandria. Goodwin is a National Board Certified massage therapist as of 2018 and offers therapeutic and relaxation massage as well as massage cupping. She is currently finishing her education in Ashiatsu, which is a technique where she will use her feet to massage clients' backs.

  • Elements Salt Room and Wellness is owned by Becky Byrne and is located at 510 22nd Ave. E, Ste. 201B. She is a certified massage therapist, biofeedback specialist and consulting hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists. One of the notable areas of her businesses is the salt room. In this room filled with Himalayan salt, clients relax in a chair and breathe deeply to absorb the micro particles of salt into their airways.

  • Vantage Bank is located at 311 30th Ave. E in Alexandria. In 2012, Jeff Montgomery purchased Kent State Bank along with a few other individuals. From there a loan production office was opened in Alexandria and the name changed to Vantage Bank, and in 2015 it became a full-service branch. In the spring of 2019, it moved into a new, larger location.
  • Endless Treasure Second-Hand Store opened its location in summer 2019 at 2420 Highway 29 in Alexandria. It takes in second-hand donations from the public to be sold in the store, with a goal to donate a majority of its proceeds to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. It has also donated items to Life Connections and Love In the Name of Christ.
