The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Team recognized four new chamber members on Aug. 7.
United Communities Advocating Non-Violence, Inc. is a local non-profit located in Alexandria. UCAN is an educational organization that encourages reflection and discussion that leads to personal and collective action among community members. Its goal is to spread the word and transform those affected by domestic violence through support and awareness.
Copy Dog LLC, 703 Scandia St., focuses on writing copy for businesses such as blogs, website content and more. It also assists with content marketing strategies by using websites, inboxes and demographics such as age, location and buying patterns to create an item that speaks directly to a business’s target market.
Kindred People, 111 6th Ave. E., is a boutique style store that features women’s clothing, accessories, shoes, beauty and gifts. Everything in the store is handpicked from local and regional artists and market shows.
Kato CBD, 110 6th Ave. E, Ste. 2. Its mission is to provide education to individuals regarding the benefits of CBD. Kato CBD provides a variety of products such as water soluble, hemp seed oil, gummies, lotion, coffee, tea and more.
The chamber's membership team provides support through conversations and introductions that will cultivate and promote ongoing relationships between chamber members.
