• Craig Mische of Alexandria Brokers Realty recently earned the national Graduate Realtor Institute designation. Mische has been a Realtor since 2002. He is a licensed real estate broker, which is the highest level of real estate licensure in Minnesota. He is also a certified residential specialist and resort and second-home property specialist. The institute is designed to educate real estate professionals about local, state and national real estate practices that affect them and their clients.

• The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce membership team recognized five new chamber members on Wednesday, Dec. 5. Evolve Orthodontics is at 510 22nd Ave. E., Ste. 702, in Alexandria. This full-service orthodontics office offers services from early to adult treatment. Alexandria DockWorks & Marine, at 1301 N. Nokomis St. in Alexandria, provides a variety of services such as storm recovery, lifts and docks and boat and hoist storage. H2M, a marketing agency, is at 320 N. Fifth St., 3rd floor in Fargo. We Got Your Back USA, an Alexandria nonprofit organization, supports law enforcement officials, firefighters and emergency medical personal. Irmadene Hanson of MAGNIFY Your Influence, at 3725 County Rd. 36 NE in Parkers Prairie, is a certified John C. Maxwell speaker, coach and trainer.

• The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recognized four local businesses on Dec. 12: Crooked Willow, a wedding and event venue at 11181 County Rd. 82 SE, Osakis; the recently expanded Ron's Warehouse at 1408 Third Ave. E. in Alexandria, which sells liquidated stock; Hagstrom Engineering, PLLC at 219 Sixth Ave. E. in Alexandria, which offers a range of residential, commercial and industrial services; and The Douglas County Car Care Program, a faith-based nonprofit corporation that provides cars and repairs to residents with transportation needs.
