Alexandria business puts together holiday light route

Jonah Berglund said he felt it was a worthwhile thing to do in light of so many traditional events being canceled due to COVID-19 related restrictions.

Jonah Berglund of Jonah Berglund Solutions opened up his family's Christmas lights tour route to the entire Alexandria community this year.

He said he felt it was a worthwhile thing to do in light of so many traditional events being canceled due to COVID-19 related restrictions. The tour route includes many of the contest light displays featured in the Echo Press, as well as many other noteworthy displays throughout the area. The self-guided tour takes just over one hour to drive, slowing down for each display.

"This has been a lot of fun with my family each year," Berglund said. "We just caravanned the tour ourselves on Sunday evening armed with our favorite hot season beverages and a playlist of Christmas music. This year was actually a little more challenging because there were just so many more light displays. It was difficult to decided which ones to include in order to keep the drive time reasonable."

You can view and download a free printer-friendly PDF of the tour route on the Jonah Berglund Solutions website at BerglundSolutions.com. Once there, look for the "FREE Christmas Gift!" near the top of the page. Feel free to call if you have any questions at (320) 219-0166.
