The building along Highway 29 South in Alexandria that was the home of the Tennessee Roadhouse restaurant has an interested buyer.
A “sold” sign on the property is causing some buzz around town about who may have purchased the building but the sale is still pending so the buyer is not being named yet, according to the listing agent, Dave Johnson, broker for ORB Commercial Real Estate Group.
The 4,950-square-foot building is listed at $663,000.
The listing for the property includes the description, “Excellent location for restaurant, lodging or retail right at the busy I-94 interchange at Alexandria. Prime lot for redevelopment also on frontage road between a fast food location and a motel. A former restaurant for seating up to 160 is located on the property providing several opportunities if one remodels or removes the structure.”
The Tennessee Roadhouse closed in 2017 after the owners filed for bankruptcy.
