Young Life, an international Christian organization for teenagers, met its fundraising goal to hire its first area director in Alexandria: Daniel Hartosch.
Through spiritual leadership, the goal of area directors is to carry out Young Life’s mission of introducing young people to Jesus and helping them grow in their faith.
Hartosch began his Young Life career as a WyldLife leader in Lake Stevens, Wash., in 2006. He then joined the Young Life Snohomish Valley staff team in 2007 before he was hired as the first official college director of Young Life College in the Twin Cities in 2016.
“My wife Amanda and I are excited to join a community that works together to care for kids,” Hartosch said. “Alexandria is a community that tries its best to give all kids a chance to be known and loved. We can’t wait to get to know people and start building relationships to invest in this community together.”
