The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Echo Press, recognizes five young professionals under the age of 40 in the Alexandria Lakes Area each year.

Each nomination is judged on the individual’s community involvement, professional accomplishments, and leadership skills. The top five honorees will be featured in the Chamber’s annual publication, published by and inserted into the Echo Press in late January, and will be honored at the Chamber’s virtual annual celebration on Monday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m.

This year’s honorees are Alexis Wagner, special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary School; Bobbi Perseke, office manager at Alexandria Precision Machining; Derek Goracke, chiropractor at Central Lakes Chiropractic Clinic; KaLee Mohrman director of hospice at Knute Nelson; and Michelle Nessman, CEO and Founder of Elite.

This virtual event is free and open to everyone. Visit alexandriamn.org for the live link to tune in and celebrate the community. For more information, call the Chamber at 320-763-3161 or email info@alexandriamn.org.
