Natalie Goodwin and Becky Byrne have joined forces and relocated together in the Easton Place complex, 510 22nd Ave. E., No. 201B, Alexandria. Massage by Natalie and Elements Salt Room and Wellness opened April 1. Goodwin, a National Board Certified massage therapist, offers therapeutic massage, as well as massage cupping, and will soon offer Ashiatsu barefoot massage. Byrne, a biofeedback specialist and a consulting hypnotist, focuses on stress reduction and well-being. She will soon be offering salt/halotherapy.

• Western National Insurance Group announced that Alexandria-based Timm Agency has been named one of Western National's Circle of Excellence Agencies for 2019. The Western National Circle of Excellence recognition is announced annually to spotlight partners who have excelled based on performance and growth over the past six years (2013-18). This recognition places Timm Agency in the 90th percentile of all Western National partners for overall performance, growth and partnership in that span.

• Two local State Farm agencies earned the Ambassador Club Designation for 2018, a nationwide recognition by State Farm for performance in helping clients with financial service products. The Amy Christopherson Agency of Alexandria achieved Level 2 of the Ambassador Club, which placed her in the top 15 percent of agencies nationwide. Brenda Fischer from Elbow Lake achieved Level 1 status, placing her in the top 20 percent.

Knute Nelson and Innovative Builders Inc. have been selected by Finance & Commerce newspaper as a 2019 Progress Minnesota award nominee in the nonprofit organization category for their development of Crystal Brook Senior Living in Park Rapids. The awards, now in their eighth year, recognize individuals and companies who are driving business and industrial growth and economic development in Minnesota in unique ways. Crystal Brook Senior Living includes independent living, assisted living and 19 memory care assisted living units. A thriving town center is the central focus of the building with a multi-purpose room, salon, card and club room, dining room, lobby, outdoor terrace, resident storage, spa, fitness room and underground parking. Knute Nelson and Innovative Builders Inc. will be recognized at an awards dinner on April 17 in the Twin Cities.
