A new Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State website recently launched. It is designed to improve the visual experience and better meet the needs of Minnesotans, whether those registering to vote or starting a small business. To view the new site, visit www.sos.state.mn.us.

The new site marks a departure from the previous version to one with a responsive design that’s user-tested and focused on making it easier for Minnesotans to find information on all devices.

Additionally, it is the first time that all departments and applications – including tools such as registering to vote, searching business filings or requesting an absentee ballot online – can be found on the same site.

“The work we do in the Secretary of State’s office affects Minnesotans in all 87 counties of the state, whether that’s voters looking for their polling place on Election Day, entrepreneurs trying to set up and run their businesses, or survivors of domestic violence seeking to protect themselves and their family,” said Secretary of State Steve Simon.
