Battle Lake man injured in one-vehicle crash near Evansville

A 2021 Ram pickup left Highway 78 in Lund Township and ended up in the ditch at about 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 10.

EVANSVILLE – A Battle Lake man was injured in one-vehicle crash on Highway 78 north of Evansville on Monday, Jan. 10

Roger Eugene Barth, 58, was driving a 2021 Ram pickup north on Highway 78, near mile marker 8 in Lund Township, when it left the roadway and entered the ditch at about 3 p.m., according to the State Patrol.

Barth was transported by ground ambulance from the scene with believed non-life-threatening injuries to the Fergus Falls Hospital, according to the State Patrol.

Barth was wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.

Responding units included the State Patrol, Douglas and Grant County Sheriff's Offices, Evansville Fire Department and Ashby Ambulance.
