For two days each Christmas, volunteers help count birds locally, and those numbers will be presented at the Prairie Lakes Audubon Chapter meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

The group will meet via Zoom at 7 p.m. Following a business meeting, DNR naturalist Ben Eckhoff will review the results of this year's Christmas Bird Counts for Lake Carlos and Kensington. The meeting will also preview the chapter's 2022 field trips.

To request a Zoom "Join Meeting" link, or if you need help setting up Zoom, email by Jan. 10.

There is no cost to attend this program, and all are welcome. Prairie Lakes Audubon Chapter belongs to the National Audubon Society and is open to anyone interested in birds and nature.
