Funeral services for Sophie Leona Nohl will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Apostolic Christian Church, rural Morris. The Apostolic Christian Ministers will be officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Sophie Leona Banwart, daughter of Charles and Bertha (Widmer) Banwart, was born October 16, 1916 in Lamar, Missouri.
Lois Ruth Olson, age 68, of Cottonwood, passed away at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood. Burial was in the Christ Lutheran Cemetery. Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall was handling the arrangements. Lois Ruth Aanerud was born on Sept. 19, 1940 in Morris, to Oscar and Ruth (Stark) Aanerud. She was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church in Donnelly. She confirmed her faith at First Lutheran Church in Morris.
Funeral services for Darell Lester Mohr of Morris will be held Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall at the Morris Area Elementary School in Morris. Reverend Donald Main will be officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the school on Sunday. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Darell Lester Mohr, son of Robert and Aileen (Giese) Mohr, was born May 30, 1953 in Morris, where he was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Funeral services for Delia Jeanette Dolven of Morris will be held Monday, March 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Morris. Reverend Todd Mattson will be officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial will be at Scandia East Cemetery in Cyrus. Delia Jeanette Olson, daughter of Otto and Delia (Lee) Olson, was born Feb. 18, 1913 in Framnas Township in Stevens County.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 8 PM with a rosary at 7:00 and a prayer service at 7:30 at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Micheal "Mike" Tomoson, age 58, died suddenly on Feb. 21, 2009 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, Kansas. Mike was born April 1, 1950 in Graceville to Charlie and Bertina Tomoson of Alberta. He joined the Army in 1971 and reached the rank of E-4. He was a self-employed truck driver. Mike loved nature, fishing, hunting, spending time with family and friends and vintage trucks. Mike is survived by his daughter, Tina Tomoson; four grandchildren of St.
Ralph "Sam" Drum passed away peacefully at the West Wind Village in Morris on March 10, 2009, at the age of 90. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. The family will receive visitors for one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope, Minn. on March 23. Memorials are preferred. Ralph Drum was born in Carlos Township to Everett and Hattie (Kingstone) Drum on March 29, 1918. Ralph, also known as Sammy to his family, grew up on land that is now Carlos State Park.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Morris. Donald James Riley, son of William and Mabel (Brouillet) Riley, was born September 18, 1921 on the home farm in Stevens County, Minnesota.
Funeral services for Sara June Duvall will be held Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris. Reverend Marlin Mohrman will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be at St. Petri Cemetery in Cyrus. Sara June (Boucher) Duvall age 67 passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 9, 2009 and now joins her son Ray Showers in eternal rest. Sara was the daughter of Ruth (Ingham) and Washington Boucher.
Lorraine "Laurie" Mary Bakey was born May 5, 1934 in Morris Minnesota and died March 4, 2009 at the age of 74 years old. Lorraine is survived by her children, Kelly Berlien, Karen Bakey, Kevin (Susan) Bakey, Kyler (Tracy) Bakey and Tim Bakey (Shelia Perkins).
