The Alexandria boys swimming and diving team ran into a buzzsaw in Class A’s second ranked swimming and diving team Sartell-St. Stephen Tuesday in a dual meet at Discovery Middle School. The Cardinals only managed two first place finishes as Sartell ran away with a 124 to 62 dual victory. Head coach Richard Smith knew it would be tough for the Cardinals to compete after seeing Sartell run away with the Section 3A True Team title by nearly 300 points.
