Douglas County Safe Communities Coalition has created an impact board sharing the stories of local victims, like Lucille Vogt, who were killed in distracted driving crashes. Vogt of Leaf Valley was killed in a two-car crash in September 2010. The person who hit her had been sending and receiving 15 text messages before she crossed the centerline and hit Vogt head-on.
