Ken Meyer, known to many as "Ya-Ya Kenny," is a regular on the annual Jingle Bells Telethon. This year, due to illness, he was unable to perform. After moving to Alexandria in 1964, he played in Veo’s Trio Band and later formed his own band, the Ken Meyer Band, where he remained for 50 years. He's done some recording in Nashville, Tennessee; Branson, Missouri; Texas and Colorado. His original songs include "My Skidoo," "Good Old Minnesota" and "Pretty Flowers." (Contributed)
