Janssen challenged students from Carlos, Garfield and Miltona elementary schools to participate in Hoops for Heart and raise at least $5,500. U.S. Senator Al Franken presented WWII Navy veteran Jim Clermont of Garfield with the French Legion Medal of Honor during a special presentation at Target Field on September 3. Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus (behind Franken) was also part of the presentation; he invited Clermont and family to attend the Minnesota Twins game that day. (Contribtued)
