Campers discovered the world of critters and bugs at a recent 4-H Day Camp on July 18. Rain caused the location to move from Park Osagi on Lake Osakis, but it didn't put a damper on the kids' fun. As they learned about "creepy crawlies," day campers eagerly explored the bugs. Throughout the day, they made a huge web (pictured), spiders and butterflies and played games. Lake Mary Troopers 4-H Club participated in a community pride project at Nordic Meadow Apartments complex, for young adults with disabilities, in Alexandria in May. The 4-H club members planted vegetables and flowers around the grounds of the apartment building. In addition, the members made and painted bluebird and wood duck houses, which they put up around the property. The 4-H members are pictured with one of the bluebird houses that they made.
