The Silverstreaks used three runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth to open up a comfortable lead. Jenna Fearing led the charge with three hits and two RBIs. Jordyn Rajdl, Katie Anderson, Krista Fearing and Amber Giese all added two hits apiece as that group combined for five RBIs.

“Both teams struggled defensively in this game, but we were able to minimize our mistakes, while taking advantage of their miscues,” Osakis head coach John Stigman said. “We were opportunistic with their mistakes, allowing us to continue to keep the pressure on. Offensive, we ran aggressively and got a couple big hits when we needed them.”

Giese got the win after scattering seven hits and five walks. She struck out three and limited the damage done, allowing two-run innings in the first, fourth and fifth innings.
