Panther girls win season opener

The Parkers Prairie girls won their season opener on Tuesday night by jumping out to an early lead and downing Bertha-Hewitt 55-35.

0 Talk about it
The Panthers are a new-look team this season without 2,000-point scorer Madison Dorn on the wing. That means others will have to step up around Micaela Noga.

Noga had a team-high 17 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists on Tuesday, but two others followed in double figures. Sarah Bunde had 15, while Sierra Nori finished with 10. No Bertha-Hewitt player finished in double figures as the Panthers’ defense stymied the Bears all night.
