Adapted bowlers host home invitational

The Alexandria Adapted Bowling team hosted 13 other teams from around the state in the eighth annual Alexandria Invitational on Thursday, April 24.

Stephen McCabe took first among boys in the PI singles division with a season-high series of 462, including his season high record game score of 173. The Alexandria PI team of Lily Hjelle, Kari Berg, McCabe and Jack Botzet placed fourth.

Berg placed 10th for Alexandria in PI girls singles with a score of 383.

In the CI boys singles, Ryan Frick and Matt Senstad tied for sixth place as each rolled a score of 412. Frick recorded his highest career single game score of 153.

In the CI girls, Tayler Mayer placed seventh with a 411 series and McKenzi Klimek placed eighth with a series of 409. The Alexandria CI team of Mayer, Frick, Klimek and Matt Senstad earned third place with a score of 1,644.
