Murder charges reinstated in 2013 stabbing

State cross country race Saturday at St. Olaf

The state cross country meet is tomorrow, and here are some notes for spectators from Alexandria to keep in mind as they head to Saint Olaf College in Northfield.

The Class AA girls’ race is the first of the day at 10 a.m. Alexandria is represented by Megan and Bethany Hasz as individual qualifiers, and they will be starting out of lane 18.

Megan is ranked second in the latest Class AA individual polls, while Bethany is right behind her in third. Anna French, a junior from Wayzata, is the only girl ranked ahead of them.

The Class AA boys’ race will take place at 11 a.m. The entire varsity lineup will be racing for Alexandria after they qualified as a team at the Section 8AA meet. They will start out of lane 5.
