The Alexandria baseball team had a five-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday but did earn a split in a doubleheader at Fergus Falls.
The Otters (5-8, 4-7 Central Lakes Conference) won game two 8-2 after the Cardinals (9-5, 6-3 CLC) had won game one, 6-3.
Fergus Falls jumped out early with five runs in the first inning of its win. Alexandria got single runs in the second and fifth frames as the Otters' Ashwin Stratton and Jackson Nelson combined to limit the Cardinals to just four hits.
