Alexandria’s Amanda Christianson, Osakis’ Annalise Savageau and Parkers Prairie’s Micaela Noga were all selected to the series as three of the top 40 senior players in the state. The weekend will feature two games to showcase the players against one another at Carlton College in Northfield.

The games will be played at 1 and 3 p.m. on April 26. April 25 will feature an opening night ceremony featuring two-time WNBA champion head coach Cheryl Reeve of the Minnesota Lynx. Other notable players in the series include five Miss Minnesota Basketball nominees in Carlie Wagner of New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, Cayla McMorris of Park Center, Kenisha Bell of Kennedy, Chase Coley of Washburn and Brianna Rasmusson of Fergus Falls.

Tickets to the all-star series are good for both games and can be purchased at the door. The cost is $10 for adults and free for children and students younger than 18.

All three of the local players will take their games to the next level in the fall. Savageau will play at Concordia College in Moorhead. Christianson is going to join the Huskies at St. Cloud State University, while Noga will play for the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
