Tennis: Osakis 13-1 after LPGE sweep

The Osakis tennis team completely shut out Prairie Conference member Long Prairie-Grey Eagle in Osakis last Thursday night.

The players won straight sets, only surrendering individual points in the first singles and the first doubles. None of the matches had to move on to three sets.

Tia Dykema was the only Silverstreaks player in the singles that had a bit of a struggle, but she still managed to beat Alley Ecker 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) in the first singles. Shea Olson, Camryn Hoffarth and Lauren Scherr all won 6-0, 6-0.

The first doubles team, Kali Giesler and Karlee Hoffarth won 6-2, 6-1. The second and third doubles Kiara Hensley/Dinara Dykema and Alexa Lien/Mara VanNuhuis won 6-0, 6-0.

This win brings the Silverstreaks record to 13-1.
