Boys basketball: Arrows fall to Pelican Rapids

The Ashby boys basketball team fell in a 61-40 game to Pelican Rapids on Friday night.

Pelican Rapids led 34-20 at the half and continued to pull away in the second half.

"We were out of sync tonight," stated Ashby head coach Jeremy Knick. "Offensively, we just weren't clicking and makes were tough to come by. Defensively, I thought we played fine, but when you aren't making shots, it is tough to get set up defensively over and over again."

Miles Wing had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Arrows. Scott Johnson added 11 points and nine rebounds, and Eric Amundson had 10 points and six rebounds.
