Rox avenge Monday’s loss

The St. Cloud Rox avenged a loss from the night before against Alexandria by beating the Blue Anchors 4-1 on Tuesday in St. Cloud.

The Blue Anchors couldn’t solve Rox starter Tim Faix as he got the win in six innings of work. He lowered his ERA to 1.80 on the summer by allowing just one run on four hits and one walk. He struck out three.

Jason Zgardowski countered him and went six solid innings himself. Both of the runs he allowed were unearned as he scattered five hits and two walks but took the loss as

Alexandria committed two errors

on the night.

The Blue Anchors had seven hits in the game with seven different players collecting one. Ryan Busch followed a home run on Monday night with a double on Tuesday.
