WCA loses to Browerville

The West Central Area volleyball team fought through four sets but was unable to come out with a victory over Browerville Tuesday in Barrett.

The Knights won the second set in the match, and played close in the first and third.

Head coach Beth Hill said she was happy with the team’s ability to close out the second set, but the team was unable to keep their play up through the entire match.

“I am a little disappointed in our lack of intensity throughout the entire game,” Hill said. “These are things we have worked on for a long time.”

Tiana Christenson led the Knights with 10 kills, and she along with Christina Kruize both finished with 20 digs.

Kruize also finished with 27 assists in the match.
