Football: Minnewaska's Snider breaks state records

Minnewaska senior linebacker/offensive guard Nathan Snider set two new Minnesota State High School league records and eight school records this fall.

He is also named as a top middle linebacker recruit in Minnesota on

Snider recorded 19 solo tackles against Paynesville this fall to set a state single-game record, and also set a state record for his 275 career solo tackles for the Lakers.

He is a four-year letter winner for Minnewaska, setting a school record with 106 solo tackles in his 130 total for the 2012 season.

He also caused three fumbles, two sacks and five tackles for lost yardage, earning him West Central All-Conference honors as well as being named the WCC's outstanding defender for 2012.
