Ashby volleyball: Panthers down Ashby in LEC finale

The Ashby volleyball team wrapped up the regular season with a 2-8 record in the Little Eight Conference after getting swept by Parkers Prairie on Tuesday night.

The Panthers were in control most of the night. They won 25-12, 25-16 and 25-17 to wrap up their LEC season with an 8-2 record, good for second place in league play.

Ashby also recognized its lone senior on Senior Night. Meg Roley wrapped up her home career with four kills against a strong front row of Parkers Prairie.

"She has led us all season," head coach Brenda Johnson said of Roley. "Her work ethic and leadership qualities on and off the court were very important to our team. She gives 100 percent all the time and has worked hard all season."
