Volleyball: Silverstreaks sweep Rebels

Sadlemyer and her team picked up their first win of the season with a 25-20, 25-22, 25-18 sweep of Eagle Valley last Thursday. Sadlemyer had six kills in that victory.

The Osakis volleyball team got its first win of the season last Thursday with a clean sweep over conference foe Eagle Valley.

The Silverstreaks got off on the right foot in their quest to defend their league title. They won close sets in the first two by scores of 25-20 and 25-22 before putting the Rebels away 25-18 in the third.

Becka Sadlemyer had a big night at the net. She finished with a team-leading 11 kills and three blocks. Danielle Chisholm added seven kills and was 15-of-15 serving. Tayler Waldvogel led the defense with 16 digs, while Annalise Savageau had an all-around strong game with four assists, five kills, nine digs, two blocks and 16-of-16 serving.
